Distinguished Medical Alumni

The Medical Alumni Association and the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences seek nominations for the Distinguished Alumnus/a Award. The award is presented annually to a medical school graduate who has made outstanding contributions in medicine, the arts or the humanities, and is recognized nationally/internationally by peers.

Criteria for this award include, but are not limited to evidence of the following:

  • Outstanding achievement as a physician
  • Contributions through personal leadership to the advancement of the medical profession
  • Contributions through community service and teaching
